Role Overview

The Team Leader (TL) is responsible for driving team performance, operational efficiency, and service quality within a healthcare support environment.

You will lead a team of Customer Service Representatives (CSRs), ensuring that performance targets, quality standards, and client expectations are consistently met. This role combines **people leadership, performance management, and operational oversight**.


Key Responsibilities


People & Leadership
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Customer Service Representatives
  • Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and open communication
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and performance support
  • Manage attendance, behavior, and disciplinary processes when required

Performance Management
  • Monitor team KPIs, productivity, and service levels
  • Set clear individual goals and conduct regular performance reviews
  • Deliver structured coaching sessions (side-by-side monitoring)
  • Ensure adherence to schedules and attendance targets

Quality & Operations

  • Maintain high-quality service standards for healthcare accounts
  • Conduct quality evaluations and provide actionable feedback
  • Monitor systems (ACD, dialing tools) to ensure efficiency
  • Support process improvements and operational initiatives

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience: Background in operations or BPO environment
  • Leadership: Proven experience managing or supervising a team
  • Analytical Skills: Comfortable with reports, metrics, and performance data
  • Organization: Strong time management and prioritization skills
